A Treat Holder Your Valentine will Love

Valentines Day is just around the corner and I know an easy little treat holder that will be a breeze to put together. Treat holders are a great way to customize an easy present for someone on Valentines Day. This little box holdes a chocolate treat. You can also leave this treat holder for friends, family, and your Valentine on Valentines Day.
I used the True Love Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Mini Catalog.

I love this Designer Series Paper, however, sometimes I want some color and this paper is black and white. As a result, I decided to add some using the NEW Sponge Brushes. You can easily costomize the color based on who you are giving this treat holder too (e.g. Your Valentine).

I love blending with these brushes and I do have some tips and tricks on how to use these brushes when using them with your projects. These brushes make customizing cards and coloring a breeze.
    • Use a clear block or your Stamparatus plates to dab some of your ink off your sponge brush then begin to blend onto your paper using circular motions to help blend the ink. You can continue to pick up the ink from the ink that you dabbed off on the clear block or on your Stamparatus plate.
      • Keep your paper on a nonporous surface such as your stamparatus plates or silicone mat so you can better control your ink and motions for a better blend.
    • Be light handed with your coverage, you can always go back over your blending.
    • You can clean it with a shammy or run it under your sink.
    • Keep brushes for family colors. I have ones for blues, reds, purples, greens, yellows, and browns. You can also have one for wink of stella and shimmer paints but be sure to wash them immediatly after use. You can also have a brush to use for the Gilded Leafing Embellishment.
