Happy Wednesday!
Alex has had some fun creating for you this week. I love watching her work. You can see the wheels spinning when she creates and she is so fast at what she does. She creates two to three cards to my one! She will also be showing you these cards on the Facebook live tonight. Let me tell you how grateful I am to have her here working with me and in my life! She is just amazing.
The product of the Week
This card uses our product of the week which is the Falling for Leaves Photopolymer Bundle! I just love the detailed stamps and thinlits that are part of this bundle.
Useful Information
Stampin’ Up! even made it so that the leaf images have inside stamps so that you can add detail into your leaves if you want! The lace thinlit is so pretty, however, it is important to note that the scalloped side is the only side that cuts out.
Here is an example of the lace thinlit on a card. To cut this lace strip out, I suggest to place it on a scrap piece of paper with the scalloped edge closest to the egde of the paper. Then after running it through the Big Shot use your trimmer to cut it out.
It is also important to note that with these detailed thinlits it is most helpful to use Stampin’ Up!’s Precision Base Plate! This is the perfect tool to use to cut the detailed images. I would also recommend using the Big Shot Die Brush to get out all of the little pieces. Simply run the brush over the die cut piece and itty bitty pieces of die cut pieces will come flying out! This brush does wear over time but it also lasts a long time.
Halloween is coming!
Halloween is almost here and I am so excited because that means Halloween cards and Crafts!
