How to Case

Hello Everyone,

This past weekend we took Savannah to the Pumpkin patch. It was so much fun, even if it was still hot here in Southern Arizona. She had a blast picking out her pumpkins and vegetables. I am so excited thinking about the day when I can take her through the corn maze, but she is still a bit too young to go through it right now. Then it was off to the apple orchid where we picked up apples, fresh apple pies, and apple cider doughnuts. It was quite a busy day.

Here is Savannah on the pumpkin she wanted to take home.

Today’s Project

In today’s project I will be showing you how to case a project from the 2020 August to December Mini Catalog. There are all kinds of neat tips and tricks that you can find buried in the catalog. I am going to show you how to case a card out of the catalog. C.A.S.E stands for Copy, And, Share, Everything. There are so many beautiful cards in the catalog to case, why would you want to go anywhere else?

For this card you can sponge the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon by using a sponge daubers to transfer ink onto the ribbon. This is a great tip to get a matching color ribbon for any project you may be working.
Another tip is when using your water painters keep a paper towel close by. The speckled look is achieved by creating a pool of water in the lid of the ink pad with ink then pick it up onto your water painter and using the cap you then flick on to the paper. This is great to give the paper a subtle texture.
