Tips
There are so many fun things that you can do with this product that I have assembled several tips and tricks for you.
- Have watercolor pencils and want to add a little bit of shimmer and glimmer to it? My first tip would be to color with you watercolor pencil over the stamped image and blend it with your Wink of Stella.
- Another tip is that you can also add color and shimmer to you crafting product by taking a Stampin’ Up ink pad and squeezing it until some of the ink is on the lid. You can then pick up that color with the the Wink of Stella. Be careful to make sure you have cleaned the ink off of the Wink of Stella tip so you do not transfer the color where you do not want it to be.
- Lastly you can color over an already stamped and colored image to add a hint of shimmer.
To achieve this look I stamped the flower in Blackberry Bliss before using a Blender Pen to add shading as well as to color it in. To add the Wink of Stella I simply colored over the image once it was dry with the glitter brush.
Tricks
A trick when working with this wonderful product is even though it might be running out on you there are ways to prolong your use of the product.
- By taking off the brush applicator and then removing the barrel on the Wink of Stella you can add rubbing alcohol to it, but only fill it up to the “h” in push that is embossed onto the side of the pen, to make sure you do not over fill it.
- You can also add a couple of drops of reinker to your Wink of Stella pen and you have a colored glitter pen that you can use on other products.
