Creative Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Creative Blog Hop!

This is the first time I have participated in a blog hop so I am really nervous and have had quite a few problems with my blog getting this to load and work!

I want to thank Sharon Armstrong for inviting me to do this! Blogging is something I will admit I really need to work on. So she has challenged me! Thank you Sharon For pushing me!

The first card I want to showcase is a technique card. I guess you could say I am a technique junkie! I just love adding techniques to the cards I come up with. I am showcasing Shadow Stamping for this technique. Shadow stamping is done normally on a darker cardstock. You first stamp with a whisper white craft ink, dry it and then using the stamp-a-ma-jig stamp in the same color as cardstock which in this case was Early Espresso, move the image a little to the left or right and then stamp again. It leaves such a nice look!

The next card is a card I did for a swap. It is done with the Sheltering Tree set. I love this set! I just can not get enough of it! I also used the wonderful Sale-A-Bration Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.

Ok it is time for the questions part. Here I go.

What am I working on?

Right now I am prepping for my upcoming classes this month. Also I am working on my customer appreciation event that I will be holing at the end of the month.

How does my work differ from others?

Well I am not sure that it truly does. I do love to send out my newsletters by snail mail instead of using social media. I feel it is more of a personal touch.

Why do you create what you do?

I love what I do! I love being around others and watching the joy in their face when they create a beautiful simple card. It gives us a wouderful time to just let go and realize we each are creative in our own ways!

How does your creative process work?

I love to use sketches! I find a sketch and then chose the stamp set. The colors are next which is one reason I truly love Stampin’ Up! everything coordinates! So there is not much to do after that except stamp and put your card together!

Ok…..the next two people I chose are Shannon Harris and Nendy Kerr Just click on their names to go to their blogs!
