Creating Fun Fold Easter Cards for my Grandkids

Today has been a bit of a hectic day. We ran an errand up in Tuscon this morning and were able to make it back in time to create a few Easter cards for my grandkids. This Easter my family is celebrating a few days late because we are house sitting for my son and daughter-in-law while they go to Florida for a week. So when they come back we will celebrate with them. I loved how these cards came out and am thinking about sending them early so that they can read the cards before Easter.

For this project I used the Easter Friends Stamp set and the Brew Some Fun Stamp Set. The Brew Some Fun Stamp Set might seem a little bit out of left field but trust me it really works. I wanted to create Easter Eggs for the inside of the card by the bunny and the spoons from the Brew Some Fun set really worked to create that shape.

I was able to customize each card to better suite my grandchildren. In Oklahoma my grandsons recently got bunnies so I thought changing the colors would help to personalize the card to them. My oldest grandson has a black and white bunny so I was able to use the Memento pad to create that look. My youngest grandson has a gray and cream bunny so I used Basic Grey. Plus,I die cut out bow ties from the Hippo and Friends die set in the boys favorite colors to further personalize them. For my granddaughter I made everything pink as it is one of her favorite colors. I also added more turqouise colored eggs as she loves the color.
