Hello Everyone,
It is a Christmas Friday at my stamping place today and because it is Friday my assistant and I are having our weekly head to head challenge. This week we are using the Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set.
The Coordinating Punch
For today’s challenge we drew, Stampin’ Markers, Sponging, Rhinestones, and punches. So these are all the items that we have to incorporate in the card to complete the challenge. The Snowman Season stamp set is great so you can get a jump start on your Christmas Cards or winter cards. I love to start my Christmas Cards a few seasons early like during the summer time so that I can make sure I am not scrambling to get cards out during Christmas.
Perfect Cards for the Christmas Season
The cards we made today are perfect for Wintertime or Holiday stamping. The snowman stamps are perfect to practice your coloring with and the sentiments are bold and big. Plus the font is very pretty.
My Assistant’s Card

Alex used sponging two different ways on this card. She thumbed Mint Macron over the stamped snowflakes. She also sponged around the Whisper White circle to help bring in the Mint Macron color.
For a Christmas or winter card you do not have to stick with traditional colors such as red or green. Alex used Calypso Coral, Mint Macroon, and Smokey Slate for the colors on her card. It is a fun take on the traditional colors while feeling modern and unique.

- Layer One: Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Layer Two: Pool Party 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Night of Navy Strip: 1/2″ x 5″
I love the classic look of blues and white for Christmas time. You can easily change out these colors for any that you like. I love to pair the snowman with soft colors too. This way I have a shading color to work with and one for the shadows that coordinates with the colored cardstock that I choose.
Pre-Recorded Facebook Live
Here is a pre-recorded Facebook Live video of our challenge. You can see the techniques we used for both of the cards. Please make sure to leave a like, comment, and share so that we can say hi! Plus follow my Facebook page for even more updates and card making ideas!
