Today’s Project – Chasing Butterflies

Sometimes while going through my Designer Series Paper I come across something that I forgot I had. As I was looking for a DSP with Daffodil Delight I came across the Speciality Ombre 12″ x 12″ Paper! I had ordered this when it first came out and I was so excited to use it, however, I just never got around to using it but I found it was the PERFECT addition to my card today.

I love how the Ombre Speciality Paper shimmers and shines on this card!

My assisstant, Alex, colored the images on this card! To add movement she used the color lifter to add highlights to the bottom of her dress as it really helps portray the movement. Using the natural tones on the girl’s skin and hair to help with shadowing. She used a three colors within the hair to add highlights an ombred look at the bottom. The highlighted hair helps to make the image come alive.
