It is another Friday here at my stamping place, and I am so excited to use the stamp set Back on Your Feet. This stamp set has been around for a little while and I think the animals in the set are adorable. The line drawings in this stamp set are great for easy coloring with the Stampin’ Blends or just stamped alone.

For today’s challenge we drew; a fun fold card layout, pearls, sponging and dies. We were both a bit stumped on how we were going to incorporate coloring into this card using only sponges. Easy fun folds are a great way to elevate a simple card design.
My assistant’s Alex’s Card
This is a cute and easy get well card that has the added touch of a fun fold. She stamped the image in Crumb Cake so that it was tone on tone, however, Memento Ink would look just as good. Alex made a paper knot by cutting a strip of Whisper White and breaking down the fibers using a bone folder, once the paper was pliable she was able to tie a little knot.

4 1/4″ x 11″ in Pretty Peacock scored at 5 1/2′ and 2 3/4″

My Card
This cute card is perfect to send to someone felling down. The bright cheerful colors are a great way to brighten their day. The sunflowers on the designer series paper is a good look for this card. The turtle line drawing is such a cute wonky little guy.

5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ in Bumblebee score at 4 1/4″ cut 2″ off of the front panel
Whisper White: 5 7/8″ x 2 1/8″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″
Designer Series Paper 5 3/4″ x 2″ and 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Cinnamon Cider 8″ x 3″ scored at 4″
Layer the pieces of Designer Series Paper onto the whisper White cardstock before adhering to the card base.
