Hello Everyone,
My garden is growing so much, I cannot wait for everything to be ripe and ready to be picked. While I was out in my garden I was looking at all the greenery and bright pops of color and it made me want to craft with the color green. Stampin’ Up! has the perfect suite (bundle and coordinating Designer Series Paper plus embellishments) to use with the shades of green.
If the suite is to much I would recommend getting the Forever Fern bundle and then picking out what other items you want from the suite to coordinate.
There are so many options when it comes to utilizing these leaves. They are also wonderful as an addition on a card or front and center. These leaves look good in any color not just greens.
This set is great for connecting things to nature or just adding accent pieces to really tie a card together.
The first card is a beginner card with only a card base and one layer. I stamped the round leafs along the right side of the card in Pretty Peacock. Then I stamped the specks over the leaves and in the white spaces in Pear Pizzazz. I also stamped the sentiment in Garden Green. You can easily only use one color for this card and just use generational stamping (where you stamp off for a little image).
To make the second card I did the same as the first card and introduced punches, dies, and ribbon/twin.
The third card uses all of the elements from cards one and two and introduces layers and designer series paper.
Today’s Project
This card is so easy to make. I love the hint of gold that the specialty paper provides.
