Halloween Test Tube Holder


I just love Halloween! I love seeing the children in their costumes and trick or treating with my grandchildren. One of the best things is making Halloween treats and holders!

This little treat holder is really sweet to hold Candy Corn, M & M’s, Skittles and any other little treat you may find. Perfect for school functions, Halloween party gifts, or just to fun way to say BOO!

Read on to make this adorable Test Tube Treat Holder!

Supplies:

  • Stamp SetsSpooky Cat (144749)
  • Card Stock/DSP – Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock (144237); Pumpkin Pie Cardstock (105117); Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (144610); Basic Black Cardstock (121045)
  • Stamp Pads – Basic Black (140931); Cajun Craze (126965); Pumpkin Pie (126945)
  • Misc. – 1” Circle Punch (119868); 1 ¼” Circle Punch (119861); Treat Tubes (144612); Vintage Crochet Trim (144611)

Measurements:  in US inches

  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock – 4 ½” x 4 ½”
  • Spooky Night Designer Series Paper – 4 pieces of ¾” x 2 3/8”
  • Basic Black Cardstock 1” x 1” piece, and a 3/4” x 15/16” piece
  • A scrap of Very Vanilla for the tag
  • A scrap of Pumpkin Pie for the tag

Instructions:

  1. Score 4 ½” x 4 ½” Pumpkin Pie Card Stock on one side 1”, 2”, 3” and 4”. Rotate 90 degrees and scrore at ¼”, 1 ¼” and 3 ¾’
  2. Fold on score lines and cut away the parts noted in the template.

 

3. Add the 1” x 1” Basic Black square to the very top piece on the outside. With your ¾” circle punch, punch a hole in the top piece between the score lines.

4. Decorate the front panels with the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. Also add your sentiment to the front.

5. Add adhesive to the side and two bottom pieces as in the photos.

 

6. Fold your box and put it together.

7. Using the Multi Purpose Glue, add glue to the top ¼” flap and fold it in.

8. Make your tag and tie it around your test tube.
