Hello Everyone,
The temperature here has dropped significantly we are at 82 degrees Farenhight but we were up to 102 yesterday. We might be getting some rain in the next day or two which will be a blessing. I love this time of year when the flowers are blooming, especially my Gerber Daisies.
For today’s head to head challenge we are using the stamp set Daisy Lane and the large daisy punch and the medium daisy punch.
In our challenge today we drew sponges or daubers, an embossing folder, and rhinestones. We then had to incorporate all of these elements onto a card. When we do these challenges we get to choose the colors, cardstock, and layout. Then it is craft time and the cards always come out so cute and different.

To make this card Alex used sponges to color the daisy punched images and the embossed background using Hammered Metal.

I used the seaside spray classic stampin’ ink pad to sponge the punched daisies and a dauber to sponge the center. The Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder was also used to accent the floral theme of the card. I also used generational stamping with the fern leaf in Pear Pizzazz to add dimension. It is also a fun technique that you can use on any craft.
