How was everyone’s Labor Day weekend? I hope it was great as we enter the Autumn season.
My family and I spent it at home catching up on things to do around the house. I even had a class on Saturday. We made eight cards two of four designs, it was great to see everyone in my Special Holiday Series Class! Here is a peek at what the cards looked like.
One of the cards that were made used the baby wipe technique. This technique is great for playing with color on one stamp. It is also an older technique but is so much fun to play with!
This card uses the stamp set Pretty Pumpkin.

I love all of the pumpkins in the bundle. You can easily cut out and color fun designs using this fall-inspired set. Plus the sentiments are perfect to celebrate the Thanksgiving season and other holidays.
For this technique, you will need a baby wipe and re-inkers.
Tutorial For Autumn Baby Wipe Pumpkin Card
Items Used on Autumn Card
Measurements
Cardbase- Granny Apple Green – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Layer One – Mango Melody – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Layer Two – Basic White – 3 3/4″ x5″
3 1/2″ x 1″ Basic White
Scrap pieces Basic White
Instructions
Burnish Card Base and adhere Layer One onto Card Base
On Layer Two stamp pumpkins in Mango Melody in three lines
On a baby wipe apply your reinkers all around the wipe – Mango Melody, Cajun Craze, and Granny Apple Green
Stamp the pumpkin onto baby wipe to pick up the colors before stamping onto a scrap piece of Basic White
Die Cut the pumpkin and adhere onto Layer Two using dimensionals
Adhere Layer Two onto the card base
Stamp sentiment onto 3 1/2″ x 1″ Piece of Basic White and use the corner rounder to round the corners
Adhere sentiment onto the card
Embellish with Brushed Metalic Dots
